Photography for CGI Visualisation

CGI visualisation is used by architects and developers to help explore and test ideas, and as a marketing tool for presentations and brochures. It is often necessary to use a real photograph as the starting point for the CGI, to provide a real environment which merges with the graphic, and shows the proposed new development in the context of the surrounding buildings. This also enables planners, architects, and developers to visualise the impact a new development will have on the environment.

The images shown are CGI visualisations produced by Flaming CGI www.flamingcgi.com to illustrate a proposed UK retail development which will retain some features of the existing buildings. Working to a very specific brief, we produced the photographic images used as a starting point for the CGI graphics.
